Susan’s talent for branding stems from working on American Honda and Apple. She spent her formative years at Chiat/Day LA working on Apple, Pizza Hut, and Yamaha motorcycles. Stints at Della Femina/LA and BBDO West followed. She then launched her own startup brand “Crazy Cat Lady”. The upscale retail pet business was featured widely on national TV, newspaper and magazine editorial. Since then Susan has branded web startups, B-to-B businesses, and private education institutions across multiple platforms. Her work has been recognized in major industry award shows including The Clios, One Show and Communication Arts.

As creative director of Disney’s Consumer Products and Live Family Entertainment Divisions for 15+ years, Kathy has the enviable talent of easily working with multiple stakeholders while bringing award-winning creative work to market — all with unflagging good humor. She has held senior positions at DJMC on Knotts Berry Farm, KABC, and Borax, as well as at Della Femina/LA on Sheraton Hotels, Magic Mountain and KCET. In between raising four children, Kathy launched her own startup, Poettree, producing original recordings of holiday poetry for retail sale. Her work in print, television, digital, branding and design has been recognized in major industry award shows.
